How this site is paid for

This page exists so that you can see how PlayBlockDominoes.com earns money. As of the date at the bottom of the page, the answer is: by display advertising only.

Advertising

The site shows advertisements served by Google AdSense. The site owner is paid by Google according to Google's terms. Advertisers do not deal with the site directly and have no say in its content. Ad placements are labelled “Advertisement” and are kept away from the game controls.

Affiliate links

The site does not currently take part in any affiliate programme. There are no Amazon Associates links, no sponsored posts, and no links on which the site earns a commission if you buy something. When an article mentions a product, such as a book on the history of games, the mention is editorial and unpaid.

If that changes

If the site ever adds affiliate links, this page will say which programmes are involved, the links themselves will be marked as affiliate links where they appear, and the date below will change. A commission-earning link never costs you more than the same purchase made without it, but you should still be able to tell which links are which.

The game is free either way

Nothing on PlayBlockDominoes.com is behind a payment or a sign-up. You can play, read and leave without clicking on an advertisement.
